Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has made a recapitalisation of Kosovo's export and import with neighbouring states.
According to the Kosovo Statistics Agency, the trade deficit for December 2017 increased by 8.5% in proportion to the same period in 2016. Exporting goods in December 2017 was worth $29.4 million, meanwhile import 297.3 million.
“This is why, the export/import report is just 1/10”, says Kurti.
He emphasises that Kosovo's exports to Albania in December 2017 were twice as big as Macedonia and triple larger than in Serbia or Montenegro.
On the other hand, according to Kurti, Kosovo's imports were more than four times larger from Serbia than from Albania.
This is what numbers we have for a mirror on the alert to the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's declaration of independence! Neither state sovereignty nor economic development nor patriotism do so. The three reforms towards the developmental state (The Sovereign Fund, Development Agency, Development Bank), which we have presented and explained on the eve of the June 11th 2017 parliamentary election campaign, are the right way and the only solution”, the VV head, Albin Kurti, concluded.
