The private detective is a free profession that has been exercised since 2015 in Albania. This year it was first licensed by the state, the Private Detective Institute, the only one to form and license investigators.

So far, about 40 “Albanian Sherlock Holmes”

The private detective was first born as a profession in France in 1833. With the first changes to Albania in the Code of Criminal and Civil Procedure, the parties are entitled to present evidence gathered by private detectives on trial.

One investigator investigates from adultery to financial fraud, technology theft, road accidents, undiscovered murders, disappearances, and others.

Top Channel brings the story of a 28-year-old from Tirana who hired a private detective to prove her doubts that her partner betrayed her.

She had lived with the man she loved for six years. A child was born, and soon things changed.

For the past few years, he started to keep his phone in his pocket, never let it go. She started working longer. He was at 12 or 2 pm, while he had to leave for work in the morning and still stayed until 5 am on the Internet. I took the night to check my phone and see conversations with strangers and fake profiles. When he returned from work, I confronted him and refused. He denied everything. I thought of a clean person, I didn't think he could get to this point to talk so much banalities, so perverted in those conversations. A wild imagination”, relates 28-year-old.

The parents of their co-existence not only did not believe it, but they called it insane.

He lied so much to me that I started to believe I was wrong. My mother-in-law, they accused me of going mad and of taking my daughter. That was the height of everything and I didn't care anymore. All I cared about was the girl”, she remembers.

She was determined to prove everyone she was right, so she started researching a private detective.

I contacted the Internet with one of the private detectives. They weren't just detectives, but they were also good psychologists. I arranged a service contract with the private detective. They thought that 14 days was enough time to see where you're going, who you're dating, and what you're doing. I was willing to do anything to reveal the truth. She was caught in compromising moments, kissing and petling in intimate areas in a public environment”, adds 28-year-old.

How did she feel when she saw photos of betrayal?

I felt relieved because the truth came out and I was fine. I knew what was waiting for me. I was prepared for betrayal. My father-in-law was more shocked. He apologized, and from that moment on, I just told him to leave my life and I don't want to see them anymore. I haven't stopped them from seeing her, they can see her every time they want, but always in my presence”, she says.

What about when she confronted her former associate with these photos?

You're just trying to break up. You wanted to break up with me! You did it. He told me and he left. It's still my fault, but nothing compares to my release. It's no match for payment. I'm completely relieved that I'm no longer close to myself, she adds.

Has anyone else recommended the private detective service?

I recommended two weeks ago to a friend of mine who had marital problems, even worse than me, because she was systematically violated by her husband”, she points to 28-year-old.
