Following agreement with Kosovo on Demarketing, Montenegrin prime minister is accused of treason

Montenegro's main opposition group, the Democratic Front, has accused the country's pro-Western government of treason after Podgorica and Pristina agreed to create a working group “to correct whether necessary” the limit it previously agreed to between the two countries. Front accused Prime Minister Dusko Markovic [...]
Front accused Prime Minister Dusko Markovic of voluntarily extending a portion of the country's territory to Kosovo”.
One of the leaders of Front, Nebojsa Medojevic, on Monday on Twitter complained that none of the other parliamentary parties, pro-Western NGOs or state university had reacted after a part of Montenegro's territory had been introduced to the false Kosovo state”.
No one reacted except the Democratic Front. The others are ready for treason”, Medojevic said.
On Friday, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci issued a joint statement with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic about the controversial issue of border demarcation, saying the two countries had agreed to work together to identify points of dispute.
Thaci spoke of forming a joint labour body with Montenegro, which would identify border disputes and make needed corrections at Chuckor, the disputed mountain peak at the border.
While the two countries that were once part of Yugoslavia signed a demarcation agreement in 2015, the Kosovo Parliament has not yet ratified it.
The agreement referred to the Yugoslav Constitution of 1974 and to maps of 1974.
President Thaci said Kosovo would make “all efforts to ratify the” agreement once the dispute is resolved.
Kosovo has not ratified it due to strong opposition from some parties, which claim to deprive Kosovo of territory.
The agreement was to be voted into the Kosovo Parliament in September 2016, but ratification was postponed after violent clashes on the issue.
Opposition parties in Kosovo claim the mountain peaks in Chuckorr and Belluh, located on the border, set in Montenegro, are part of Kosovo.
Now, the Front's opposition coalition in Montenegro says it fears Podgorica is preparing a <x0komis” and is willing to give up a part of the country's territory.
On Sunday, Front said Montenegro could be jeopardised by the new government agreement. “A situation so critical and dangerous, in which a group of irresponsible politicians trade territory, can only be resolved by courts or in a referendum”, he said.
