Ahmeti himself has made it known on Facebook that Gashi's appointment has followed his findings in the field of emergency and health management.
“Today I have appointed directors of Health in Pristina municipality Dr. Bujar Gashi. Dr. Brad is a family medicine specialist and a trained coach with accredited regard for Family Medicine. In 2016 we elected him as director of the Emergency Medicine Center in Pristina, and since then he has shown measurable results in the field of emergency and health management”, Ahmeti wrote.
Ahmeti has also said that given the results at work and recognition of Primare Health in Pristina municipality, Dr. Brad is the right choice to continue reform at primary health in Pristina.
Meanwhile, on 7 November this year, Ahmeti has dismissed Health Director Arben Vitita, a member of the Vetevendosje Movement, from office.
