The Government of Kosovo's 100 per cent tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia, as well as the blocking of the Pristina road Skopje for circulation of goods and goods, has caused exports from Albania to Kosovo for November to increase more than 40 per cent.
According to the latest data published by Albania's Directorate General of Customs, the export of goods from Albania to Kosovo has increased to 33 thousand tonnes, which, at monetary value, amounts to about $7m more exports for November this year compared to last year's 2017, reports the paper.net.
The two products that have marked Albania's largest export growth towards Kosovo are flour and construction materials, so the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Albania, Nikolin Jaka, has announced today.
Albanian businesses have demanded from the two governments -- Albania and Kosovo -- to remove trade barriers and serve increasing trade exchanges between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnbic, has declared days before that her country loses about 42m euros a month due to the additional tariffs Pristina has presented for Serbian products, the paper reports.
But, while concern in Serbia is economic loss about 500m euros a year from exports to Kosovo, concern remains the price hikes in Kosovo.
The bread from 30 cents has been expensive to 40 cents, as Kosovo makes the main flour supply from Serbia.
