Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has characterised <x0 historical and traditional” relations between Albania and Greece in a brief interview for Greek state agency general director “ANA-MPA”, Mihail Psillow, under the conference “Fake Nesa and the report with truth”, which the Albanian news agency ATSH organised in Tirana. “is a historical and traditional neighbourly relationship and, as it always happens with neighbours, is not all perfect. We know this from our region, with every neighbour, whether in the village or in the city, or between countries, is always the same relationship”, the head of the Albanian government has noted.

You can fully understand this, if you look at a football match between neighbors, it's like... War”, he's been laughing, quoted in the corresponding article.

But, Rama has also stressed that “we are very willing to improve this relationship every day and do this”.

In the end, the Albanian leader has noted that, “sometimes there are things that are randomly negative, they happen and we have to deal with”. But the main thing, he said, is that the relationship between the two countries is now good and there is no hostility between the peoples”.

“The Greeks love Albania, Albanians love Greece. The rest is only political”, Rama stressed.

Asked whether a meeting between him and Prime Minister Tsipras is planned, he has responded:

We are expected to meet soon. I don't know where, in Tirana or Athens, but we are expected to meet soon. We are in a process of very intensive dialogue and discussions on many issues, covering many years as well as other issues that have never been paved with full will, courage and determination to resolve. I think we're very close to solving these, and this would be worth”, he's done. /topchannel/
