Today, Minister Ismaili has published records of Imatinib's contracts, grass used by cancer sufferers and leukemia.
According to him, this bar had previously been bought with 32 euros a tablet, or annual contracts of 652 thousand euros.
And this year, the same amount of grass, has been bought at 3.69 euros a tablet, or 75 thousand euros, total one-year contract.
”1 in 6 deaths worldwide occur from cancer. Because of corruption, our cancer-related drugs have been bought more expensive. Imatiby, it was bought earlier for 652 thousand euros, while the same amount this year we bought for 75 thousand euros. In just one contract we have saved 577 thousand euros. In total, for drugs against us we have saved about 1m euros. Barna more, cheaper price”, has written Minister Ismaili.
Otherwise, Minister Ismaili has started publishing evidence for abusive prices in the purchase of drugs that have occurred in recent years.
It has shown that during the year 2018 alone, 6m euros have been purchased cheaper than the previous years for the same amount.
