The opposition in the Kosovo Assembly -- the 40 deputies of the LDK and LVV respectively -- has proposed a resolution with which it requires early elections.
The three main points of this resolution are as follows:
1. Parliamentary political forces sit at the negotiating table to agree to the agenda to establish new institutions through free and democratic elections.
2. After that agreement, the Government of Kosovo is resigning and the Assembly is disbanded to pave the way for the formation of new institutions.
3. Political forces will agree that during this period national importance processes will not be damaged, ensuring that more urgent issues will be addressed before the Assembly is dissolved, first of all, the voting of the package of laws for the military.
