At the conference held in Pristina, top leaders of the KOK, MKRS, sports federations, sports journalism, journalists and journalism students at Pristina University participated.
The conference was aimed at highlighting the expectations of KOK, MKRS and media federations and vice versa, the concerns that sports institutions have with the media and in turn, media digitisation, with particular portals emphasis, news Fache news, etc.
The conference was opened by KOK President Besim Hasani, who, congratulating and speaking about the importance of this conference, as well as inviting all to be active, stressed that this conference is being organised in order to reveal each other's expectations, expectations of journalists from sports and other sides.
The first of the USGSC, Arlind Grantolli, said that we should all unanimously improve the situation in sports and media relations, until it stressed that the successes that we have achieved as a sports community, whether institutions or even as USGSK, should also contribute to sports development in all instances from top to bottom.
On behalf of Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, the conference welcomed his adviser, Daut Thaci, who said the MKRS would be open and cooperative with all journalists.
According to him, our athletes are the best ambassadors and that without media reflection even the representations of athletes would not be all-powerful.
The conference was held with two panels, consisting of one sport and the other from the media.
They represented the sport: Agim Ademi, president of the Kosovo Football Federation, Eugen Saraqini, president of the Kosovo Handball Federation, Elvira Dushku, secretary general of the Kosovo Basketball Federation, Iber Alaj, director of the MKRS Sports Department and Shasivar Hadzij, KOK secretary general.
The media panel was: Skender Krasniqi, Driton Latifi, long-term journalist and analyst, Valon Konushevci, Arlind Sadiku, USGSK secretary and journalist, as well as the Crelan, moderator, journalist and commentator.
During the fruitful debates of panels and participants, various concerns appeared in media reports with institutions, as conditions of journalists at stadiums and Palestra were a particular topic discussed.
Finally, the many recommendations released during discussions were given.
