In 2017, 432 cocaine users died, almost four times higher than in 2012.
A source near a gang in Manchester, known as “The Albanians”, is expressed: “They had to run things here in London, but now they run into Manchester, Liverpool and all the big cities. They have muscle and fire power”.
Another group of Albanians known as “Helbanians” deals with such illegal activities in Birmingham and the outskirts of London. One of the Albanian gangsters selling cocaine to a high purity was imprisoned in Britain, serving 25 years.
33-year-old Erald Mema used his couriers to sell cocaine across the country. Police, after apprehending his gang, found 10kg of cocaine as well as 650,000 pounds.
