US President Donald Trump has sent letter to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, where, among other things, he asks them to use the unique momentum to speak out in a voice in reaching the agreement with Serbia”.
So report Thaci to the FBR:
Kosovo's freedom and independence are the result of our fair war and the support of our strategic international allies. Establishing our goals for membership in NATO, the EU and the UN is impossible without continued international community support.
Kosovo is blessed to enjoy the sustained support of the United States and the American people. Our cooperation and friendship are permanent and mutual. However, we should know how to maintain and strengthen our partnership. Respect and assistance should be mutual and not unilateral. Therefore, it is our obligation to respond positively to friendly calls and requests coming from the United States. Such a friendly request, but at the same time very serious, has been made directly by US President Donald Trump.
In this letter, President Trump, among other things, requires me and Kosovo leaders “to use this unique moment to speak out in a voice, in order to reach a comprehensive agreement with Serbia. The loss of this created opportunity would be to go back because such an opportunity can hardly be repeated for a long time.” Below, you can read the entire content of the letter sent by US President Donald Trump.
Your Honor
Hashim Thaci
President of the Republic of Kosovo
Your Honor. President:
It was a pleasure talking to you in Paris during a note on Gunfire Day. Kosovo is a crucial partner in our efforts to ensure peace and stability for all of Europe. I welcome your current efforts for reconciliation with Serbia. Failure to take advantage of this unique opportunity would be a tragic setback, for another potentially comprehensive peaceful agreement can hardly be repeated for a long time.
I urge you and Kosovo leaders to use this unique moment, to speak with a single voice during peace negotiations, and to refrain from actions that can make it difficult to reach the agreement.
The United States has invested heavily in Kosovo's success as an independent and sovereign state. We want your country to continue developing.
