Those with heart problems need to be cautious during winter. Food, alcohol, travel to meet with family members, missing sleep hours, and cold are the causes that combined lead to an increase in heart attacks.
A Swedish study published in the magazine “British Medical Journal” has installed 300,000 heart attacks in 1998-2013. The period before Christmas usually marks a 37% increase in heart attacks, which on holiday day drops to 27%, to reach 20% on January 1st.
The cold can negatively affect cardiovascular health in people whose blood vessels are not in good condition. In fact, rising by 8 degrees of temperature reduces the risk of heart attack by 3%.
Cardiologists recommend avoiding fatigue, such as removal. Snow removal, especially in the morning. The combination of fatigue and low temperatures can be a real enemy to the heart and increase the risk of a heart attack to 34%.a.meta
