When a pregnant woman feels a blow from her unborn baby, the young man may be taking the action zone into her body and exploring the environment, suggests research.
A London University study examined the brain waves of 19 two - day babies, some of whom were premature and therefore were supposed to act as if they were still in the womb, broadcast news nights.
When babies started beating, they activated a region of their brain that is linked to the sensory input and is thought to be critical of helping those who get used to their bodies.
However, the study was published in the scientific magazine Reports and directed by clinical researchologist Kimberley Whitehead.
