On the second day of mass protests in France, against rising fuel prices, authorities say more than 400 people have remained injured.
The French Interior Ministry said nearly 300 protesters were questioned and 157 were arrested, reports the BBC.
The ministry said some 288 thousand people attended Saturday's protest, which has continued Sunday.
The demonstrators, known as the <x0-cellese yellow”, are creating roadblocks throughout France.
Many turned their anger at President Emmanuel Macron, who accuse of abandoning people in need.
On Saturday a woman was hit by a vehicle after the driver, surrounded by manifesters, became afraid and gave gas to the car in an effort to escape.
