Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has again commented on Kosovo's tax on Serbian products and has indicated that without international pressure, the tax will not be lifted.
He has also indicated he does not expect any quick response from CEFTA for Belgrade's call for direct consultations within the Joint Committee
“We did everything that was envisioned by this agreement, we have officially submitted the request, but without the strong international pressure of those who created and sponsored it, I don't believe the measures will soon be removed”, Dacic said in response to questions from journalists after meeting with his Egyptian counterpart.
He suggested Serbia would not take any measures that would allow some to put us in the same ranking as Kosovo.
“We expect not to play some games that we all know are not true, which now one cannot influence in Kosovo”, he said.
He said he didn't hear before that someone put a 100 percent fee on someone. He also said it was good that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reacted by asking Kosovo to abolish the tax and said: “but let's see how it will all end”.
