MP ranks 87th in Eastern Europe: Rector Dema expresses happiness

Pristina University “hasan Pristina” is ranked 713th in Scimago database.

In this ranking, in which UP is the only institution of Kosovo and of all Albanian space (not only as a university but also as an institution), it ranks 713th out of 5637 institutions involved in the rankings, meanwhile, 87th of all universities in Eastern Europe.

In the competition for higher education institutions, on this ranking, where Harvard University leads, The UPP ranks 563rd in the world, leaving behind numerous universities with world renomations.

This is the first year in which the UPP is part of this prestigious world ranking.

Pristina University Rector “hasan Pristina”, prof. Dr. Marjan Dema, happily expressed his appreciation for the work of the academic staff, which has resulted in the UP's high ranking on known databases, such as Scimago and Webometrics.

Rector Dema wishes management bodies, academic and administrative staff, UPP students, government officials and all citizens for this success.

Meanwhile, for the science research projector in UP, prof. Dr. Faton Berisha, this University of Pristina success far exceeds his expectations of scientific achievement during the mandate of the current UPA management, led by Professor Dema, especially in terms of quality of scientific research.

Scimago database is based mainly on published and indexed works on the known Scopus database. For this, this University of Pristina success is one of the greatest science successes in our country in recent years.
