Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has reacted to Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic's statement, claiming neither he nor anyone else can determine Kosovo who negotiates for dialogue.
Serbian foreign policy chief Ivica Dacic has asked Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj not to lead the Kosovo delegation for dialogue with Serbia in Brussels today.
Liamj for the KP, has stressed that Dacic's statement today, misusing his presence at the Security Council, once again disseminating Serbian politics, disseminates the hypocrisy of politics that Dacic led to on one side, and on the other, the inconsistencies and insinence in relation to what they say about dialogue.
The first “, neither Daciqi nor anyone can tell Kosovo who negotiates the dialogue, and the tendency to mix who negotiates, shows that they are not serious on the topics they talk about as to go from, allegedly for a dialogue and for a peace deal”, Limaj said.
The second “is hypocrisy for the fact that exactly from where Daciqi spoke today, is the place that has formed The Hague Criminal Court, in which I have appeared, I have replied, I have not been concealed as if Serbian criminals, who Dachicicic will release when the case is given. I've gone to court, faced justice, and by the court's decision I've been acquitted. The civilized world praises the court's decisions”, Limaj said, while ironising statements by Belgrade officials who say that “are very much willing to say civilized self-civilised citizen, well shows that they are never willing to accept any citizens' standards in proportion to the compatibility of Serbian policy”.
Limaj has estimated that Daciqi is the last man in this world to talk about such a topic, “about the fact that he was Milosevic's soldier”, a regime founded by the Security Council, has condemned his generals for the crimes committed.
In September, the Government of Kosovo formed the negotiating team that will represent Kosovo in talks with Serbia. This team leads Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, while part of the delegation will be Deputy Prime Ministers Enver Hoxhaj, Behgjet Pacolli and Dardan Gashi, as well as Avni Arifi and Mahir Jagxhilar.
The government has also called on the opposition to have its representatives in the delegation.
