Kosovo faces Macedonia in the semifinal of “Play-off” towards Euro 2020

After winning Group 3 of the League D and securing the qualifications in the C League, Kosovo will have an additional opportunity for European qualifications.

After completing the regular qualifications to be held in 2019, Kosovo in March 2020 will be part of the “Play-offit” League D.

The four winners of this league's four groups will participate. Georgia, Belarus, Kosovo and Macedonia are in this case.

In “Play-off” two semifinals and a final to determine the qualified European team. In the semifinals, the best team from these four representatives face the weaker one, based on points taken in this league. The second plays the third. The first two teams have the priority of local terrain in the semifinals, while the finals will cast lots for the terrain.

Here first is Georgia with 16 points, Macedonia is second with 15, Kosovo's third with 14 and Belarus with just as many points, but due to the weaker goals is fourth.

As a result, Georgia will play Belarus, and Kosovo travels towards Macedonia.
