The founder and chairman of the European Initiative for Stability, Gerald Knaus, has said Europe is not showing fair strategy for Kosovo.
In a Twitter post, Knaus has said Kosovo is blocked on all sides, while Pristina is being asked to give territory for normalisation of relations with Serbia.
Kosovo is blocked on all sides; The European Union enables visa-free travel for Ukraine and Moldova, but No for Kosovo, even though it has met all the criteria; the only offer for Pristina is to provide territory and resources in exchange for normalisation. This isn't looking like a promising” strategy, he wrote on Twitter.
Kosovo is trapped everywhere; the EU grant is free pain to Ukraine & Moldova but NOT to Kosovo, even after meeting all consciences; the only other way to Pristina is <x0give up territory & resources in return for normalisation<x>. This does not look like a promising strategy @ecf
