Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Daut Haradinaj has demanded that an investigative commission be established to KED concerning the lack of electricity on the entire territory of Kosovo.
He has said that around 80% of Kosovo is without electricity, and nobody is accountable for the issue. He wants the KED case to have special attention just as with PTK.
It is true that every parliamentary commission has nothing wrong, but since we are about the past situation in PTK I had wanted that even in this session or even in the future to create an investigative commission for KEDS, which almost 80% of Kosovo has left without accountability to anyone”, Haradinaj has declared during today's Kosovo Assembly session.
He has said that everyone is being held accountable for the lack of electricity, while according to him the implementation of the contract by KED is not even about.
“KEK says we have no obligations, KEDS in the works do so, while implementation of the contract is not nearly available. I hope colleagues have to address this subject as well. PTK, because it is unacceptable that at this very cold time we read through the media that most areas in Kosovo do not have energy. We as parliament should carry out our task and see what the problem is and why it is not supplied with electricity to Kosovo citizen”, Haradinaj has declared.
We remember that last week many parts of Kosovo have been without electricity, while no one around this situation has claimed responsibility, despite the 24-hour power supply.
