Canadian MP Julie Dabrous has given a speech in the Canadian Parliament in honour of November 28th. She in her address, has described the history of this day for Albanians and has finally congratulated all Albanians on Flag Day, writes Periscopi.
“Today is Albania's Independence Day. After five centuries under the invasion of the Ottoman Empire, Albania declares independence on November 28th 1912. On this day, Albanians raised the flag in Vlora, which has since been known as Flag Day. Happy Independence Day.”, she said in her own speech, among other things. /Periscope.
