Beating Pacolli exits, urges Government to review tax for Serbian goods

AKR's Organising Secretary, Pacolli Beating, through a post in his official Facebook profile, has called on the country's institutions to consider and treat, as he writes, “wisely the advice of our friends and strategic allies such as the United States and Germany regarding the tax imposed more [...]
The “all of this must be done in view of the established circumstances and integration processes of the Republic of Kosovo. We as a country have current aspirations of free movement of citizens and goods, and we are pro-European values. Give space to dialogue and peace in the region”, Pacolli wrote.
He has not said it is for tax removal but to consider the advice of friends, which is for Kosovo to remove this tax.
Time. We talked to the Pacolli Beatdown, who said this is his only stand, not the party's.
I requested that you be considered. I didn't consult with Behgjet Pacolli, it's my personal attitude, I think that's”, Pacolli said. “I think it is best for citizens to consider the US and Germany's demand, for goods destined for the Republic of Kosovo to become a solution”, has added further.
We remember that, through a media statement, US State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert has said that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has confirmed to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci the staunch support of America for sovereign Kosovo, independent and integrated into the international community, has asked Kosovo authorities to abolish the 100% tax on Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Federica Moghrini has spoken on the phone with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who has asked Serbia to lift the tax, broadcast Koha.net.
Moghrin has asked Thaci to immediately remove taxes on Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and stressed that, the Kosovo Government's <x0->vendelling to raise the tax on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to 100 per cent complicates the situation further and does not bring any solution to people's problems or to Kosovo's current and future aspirations. This is a measure that does not help build good neighbourly relations and has to be revoted”.
The German government, like many other European countries, is concerned with recent developments in the Western Balkans in particular due to the frustration of reports between Kosovo and Serbia. As DW reports, German government spokesman Stephen Seibert has criticised Serbia for blocking Kosovo's membership in the Interpol police organisation. But he said the government and Chancellor Angela Merkel are also against the recent measures of the Kosovo government.
“German has no understanding at all of placing a 100-man tax on the part of the Kosovo government for Serbian goods”, said German government spokesman Stephen Seibert.
The 100 per cent tax decision has been made by the Kosovo government, of which the AKR is part.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has stressed once again today that the tax imposed on Serbian products will remain in force until Serbia recognises Kosovo and that no one should calculate otherwise.
