The Democratic League of Kosovo through a communique for the media suggests LDK chairman Isa Mustafa has received a letter from German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
According to LDK Chancellor Merkel with this letter thanks the LDK chairman, for the September 28th 2018 letter he had announced regarding his stances about the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo”, the LDK communiqué said.
Always according to the communiqué, Chancellor Merkel has stressed that “, even from my point of view, is very important for Kosovo to continue dialogue with the European Union's mediated Serbia and to push forward the normalisation of relations. The debate over changing borders is me, just as you're following it with great distress”.
The LDK communiqué quoted Merkel, who has also responded to the visa liberalisation issue.
I am aware how important it is to achieve visa-free travel for tourism purposes for your country. The core for Germany in this case is the exclusive fulfillment of all criteria, before visa liberalisation can be given. Consultations of EU member states on this issue are continuing”, the communiqué quoted the German Chancellor's letter.
The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa had announced, late September of this year, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the foreign affairs ministers of all EU countries regarding the LDK's positions for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
A reflection in this letter was accepted by Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijarto a few days ago.
