Following today's Kosovo Special Unit action, RUSSIA, north of Mitrovica, the mayor of this municipality, Agim Bahtiri, has called for calm among citizens and not be ensnared by provocations.
Bahtiri has welcomed the Kosovo Special Unit action, stressing that police are performing high-professioned tasks, despite the risks it may pose.
The first of Mitrovica has appealed to all citizens to remain calm and not fall into the trap of provocations.

Hail the Kosovo Police action conducted today in the north. Police are showing that she is always able to carry out her duties with high professionalism, despite the risks she may pose.
I appeal to all Kosovo citizens, especially those living in the north of the country, to remain calm and not to be ensnared by provocations of different malicious circles.
Once again I am appealing to Kosovo Serb citizens who have warned protests for today, to protest peacefully and not to do other actions, because they do not need anyone. On the contrary, police will again intervene to ensure stability and respect for the laws of the Republic of Kosovo.
