Act of 4 people in Skenderaj who earned 150 thousand euros from fake veterans

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica, the General Department, has filed charges at the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, the Skenderaj branch, against defendants M. I, F.H., H.F. and B.H. in the direction of criminal acts “Misery”, by Article 335 paragraph 2, and “Forging documents”, from Article 398 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK).

The prosecution reports that the defendants, at the beginning of 2018 with the intention of illegally benefiting property, have presented false facts by issueing certificates and confirmations of war veterans.

Also, top suspects have compiled documentation-certificates and veterans' confirmations in the name of these persons with the aim of using these documents as original”, says the Prosecutor, Koha.net reports.

With these actions, according to the Prosecutor, the defendants have committed criminal acts “Misery”, by Article 335 paragraph 2, and “Forging documents”, from Article 398 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK).

The same actions have damaged about 60 people, with cases of such illegal action profiting up to 2500 by”, the prosecution noted in the media report.

The State Prosecutor has proposed to the Court that the defendants plead guilty to the criminal acts and punish them by law.
