In an interview given to the newspaper New Age, he has declared such unity for the dialogue process with Serbia would enable the fastest rounding of Kosovo's statehood.
According to Maliqi, the question of dialogue with Serbia is personal.
He has voiced scepticism that new elections could bring another situation to the political scene.
According to Maliqi, the elections are always welcome if they lead towards exit from the crisis and promise the most deciziive outcome in favour of the ruling or opposition parties.
