If Serbia for any reason decides to intervene in Kosovo with its own forces, it will enter into open war, not with Kosovo police, but with KFOR and NATO units.
The direct and strict threat has been made to Serbia in Belgrade, during meetings of top state representatives and more powerful NATO member states.
“A diplomat was very interested in the way Belgrade follows the dramatic events from Wejman”, said a well-informed source for the Serbian daily Novosti, broadcasts news.
“at the same meeting, he had expressed disappointment at Serbia's leaders' decision to establish military readiness”, he added.

The Western diplomat has stressed that KFOR has the duty to keep Serbian forces as far away from Kosovo as possible, broadcast news.net.
According to Novosti, this is not the first threat to Serbia.
