John Terry was a model defender for football today. He was a fierce protector, impregnable in the air and a great leader. There was no doubt about Terry's skill in the field.

The life of the former Chelsea captain in the media had nothing to do with his professional career. There have been numerous incidents outside the field that have brought negative attention to England's former captain, writes Periscope.

Terry's been known for his party. In 2002, Terry had an incident at a nightclub that is by far the most visible of his times in clubs. Terry and his associate at Chelsea Jody Morris were arrested and accused of assaulting the guard after he was allegedly hit in the head with a bottle. Terry hit him in the face, but he pretended to do it for self-defense. Terry and Morris were not found guilty.

Terry had a few different and ridiculous episodes. Instead of using a toilet, Terry used a glass to relieve himself during a night in clubs.
