In this regard, LDK deputy Lumir Abdixhiku, who called the idea a big and sad one, reacted.
However, about this issue has been declared the mayor of the Pristina municipality, Shpend Ahmeti.
Ahmeti through a Facebook post has indicated that there will soon be public discussion with Pristina community and citizens about setting the location for the construction of the Concertal Hall.
” The “Grmia” building is one of the possible locations. As you know, I have expressed my opinion on this possibility in the quality of the mayor of the municipality. I'm not an urbanist or an architect, but of all the arguments I've heard so far from others, the location “Grmia” seems ideal. The only dominant dilemma is the value of the building. But let us know that there is no official decision to this point! Even so, the decision is not made solely by an institution”, Ahmeti wrote.

A LIGHT WITH CONCERTAL SALLY
Dear citizens,
I am also opening the discussion about the concert hall in the Pristina municipality, that we will soon have public discussion with the community and citizens of the municipality and the Republic. Since many thoughts have been given in the last few days, with not a little insulin, I am trying to explain the situation so that the discussion can become more conservative, objective, and rational.
- First, she explained again that it is about the concert hall, not the Opera and Ballet Palace. The second is the state institution, the first is the art infrastructure of the municipality.
- The European Commission has shown interest in investing 15.4m euros, provided the hall is in a central location. He has not insisted on any exact location, but has expressed opposition to the suburbs and location that would be near the stadium.
The decision has not been made yet! But we have very little time to make the final decision.
We, as a municipality, don't have 15m euros for the hall.
- Along with the Association of architects, criteria are under way to open the international competition for the concertal Hall. We finance this part, and then the winner will do the implementation project with the European Commission (if funding is approved).
«building The» drill is one of the possible locations. As you know, I have expressed my opinion on this possibility in the quality of the mayor of the municipality.
- The Germ building is social property and under AKP administration. Former government Mustafa has declared the area of public interest by starting to expropriate it and surrounding property for the government's needs. I don't know exactly what purpose, but I'm assuming it was for ministry buildings.
- In the «building The» dig is currently located the Tax Administration, which I think does not belong in the center. The Ministry of Infrastructure and a Department of Internal Affairs department are also there.
- «The» digging is located on the Vellujah River, passing through the middle of the building.
- The Institute for Protection of Cultural Heritage has not included «Dig» into the protected objects register.
- Objectors of this option say the building has emotional and historical values for Pristina. The value is mentioned as facades (broken with the opening of windows, almost without any sanction) and the disscalators (moving steps) that do not now exist. I think we'll hear more arguments over the next few days.
- I'm not an urbanist or an architect, but of all the arguments I've heard so far from others, location «The» dig seems ideal. The only dominant dilemma is the value of the building. But let us know that there is no official decision to this point! Even so, the decision is not made by just one institution.
Being a great follower of the protection of cultural heritage and of our collective memory, he was underlining some of my attitudes on this subject.
Unfortunately, the cultural heritage of some buildings has already collapsed or disappeared, even at times without a loud noise from the community. Fortunately, with the interventions of the Pristina municipality, we have managed to protect the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mensen at the student centre and not a few other objects of our cultural heritage, in the municipality of Pristina.
Even «The» triangle has been preserved, although without the help of some community voices that are now opposing «Dig» as location. If we only protect the old one because it's old, then we have to do it consistent.
But if we only select a few specific buildings, then we should be based on rational and professional arguments, not mutual accusations and slander. Considering that the Palace of Youth is not an option, as well as periphery, then we have to give an alternative proposal for location. Otherwise, there is no financing, and therefore neither the hall. Of course it's not a threat or blackmail, but it's a real situation.
Comparison to other cities has also become occasional depending on whom it has been corresponding. As was the case with the stadium downtown, where there are examples of different cities. So let's make the decision by referring to Pristina's interests.
So even here, let's talk rationally and professionally, about the goods and the bad things of a possible decision. Otherwise there's no resistance in defense or no protection of old objects in our municipality. Even so, this issue will be put on public debate, where the opinions and assessments of citizens, professionals and so on can be expressed. I deeply believe that we can convince each other together of the best option; even though as everywhere, we cannot have a unanimous decision.
Let's put together the discussion to point out the final decision that the municipal bodies and the Assembly make. Some decisions will not be made without government decisions (when property is known to be under government administration).
Let's talk together. Ethics and professionalism.
Adhominemone's insults and attacks will not be allowed.
Thank you.
With respect.
P.S. We're planning on doing this at Kino Armatta.
