Kurti: Kosovo make agreement with Albania for joint defence

Vetevendosje Movement MP Albin Kurti has said it is important that the country have the armed forces, but some things must be clear, Periscope reports. He has said Kosovo should remember that Serbia does not recognise as a state, just as we are known by Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia. [...]
He has said Kosovo should remember that Serbia does not recognise as a state, just as we are known by Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia.
“I hope someone from the government has seen what Serbia Army has. Our forces must protect us from being attacked, and in this case, Serbia. Before bringing these bills, did there be a study of effective countering Serbia from the Government? That's what drives the attack on the unconventional opponent. The armed forces should refer to the country. We need to adjust the area of units. The duration of forming the Army could last up to 10 years, which makes it less serious”, Kurti said during the debate on bills to transform KSF.
On the other hand, he has said that Kosovo must make agreements with Albania for mutual protection.
“Since the armed force will not be properly, we must make agreements with Albania for common protection. If the war happens, the institutions should be on the level of duty. Iceland has a deal like that. Functionaries should have professional schooling. We must have trained officers. No government has had a program that girls and boys are sending for studies at the famous military academy. It should be seen what patriotic education members of KSF have. Schooling inside is more important to them than the weapon in their hands”, Kurti said away./Periscopi
