Italian Deputy Prime Minister at one time Interior Minister Matteo Salvin reacts sharply today to information coming from Berlin that 2 charter planes filled with asylum seekers expelled from German territory will return to Italy on October 11th and 19th.
“If someone in Berlin or Brussels thinks he will download to Italy dozens of immigrants with unauthorized flights, they should know that no Italian airport will be available. We're going to shut down all airports, just like we closed ports”, writes Salvin on Facebook social networks.
The arrival of the first charter with 40 immigrants expelled from Germany to Rome's Fiumicino airport is envisioned on October 11th, Italian media today inform.
Despite unconfirmed confirmations by the Italian Interior Ministry, according to the media the German government has made the decision and that fact has today prompted the strong reaction of Minister Salvin.
