German military presence in Prizren replaced with economic presence

This ceremony has marked the beginning of the departure of German KFOR soldiers from Prizren after the 19-year service. German peacekeepers have passed by in Shadervan Square, while citizens present have expressed their gratitude through applause.
Gratitude for the contribution of the German state and peacekeepers has also voiced Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has stressed that the German friendly state flag will continue to wave high in Prizren even without military presence.
This is your day and you should be proud. You have served in the name of your nation in a land during difficult times, and thanks to you this nation here lives in peace. And this is your success”, Haradinaj said. He has thanked Germany for its support in all areas, which, according to him, has enabled Kosovo to be peaceful today and its people to live in harmony.
