Ahmet Altan, his brother Mehmet Altan and six other journalists have been sentenced to this prison for allegedly links to the network of Muslim immam Fetullah Gulen, whom Turkey accuses of organising the failed coup in 2016, Reuters follows.
This agency stresses that six journalists are already serving this sentence.
