The US warns its citizens: There could be terrorist attacks in Kosovo

“Terror groups continue to plan possible attacks in the Balkans, including Kosovo”, the State Department said in a statement issued by the US Embassy in Pristina, the “b92” broadcast Periscopi.
As it further points out, <x0terrorists can attack, targeting tourist sites, transportation centres, markets, shopping malls, local government buildings, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sports and cultural events, educational institutions, airports and other public spaces<1>.
The State Department report says politically motivated “violence occurs throughout Kosovo”.
In addition, Americans are being warned and reviewing the trip to northern Kosovo for allegedly “civil unrest”.
“Tensions between communities in northern Kosovo continue to encourage violence, demonstrations and other riots in northern Mitrovica, Leposaviqi, Zubin Potok and Zvecan,” is said in the State Department's statement./Periscopi/
