A 20 - tourists balloon crashed today in the ancient city of Luxor in Egypt, killing at least one person and injuring more than 12 others.
The air carrier “Sinbad”, identified the life-loss tourist, he's an Australian citizen.
Ballona was preparing to land at 6:30 when a sudden, strong wind began causing a severe collision with the earth.
The victim is an Australian born from South Africa who died as a result of a head crash during the landing.
Other tourists suffered minor scratches but were sent to the hospital to get first aid.
Civil Aviation Authority has begun investigating the full circumstances of the accident.
The pilot who ran the balloon, who was injured, was admitted to hospital for treatment and questioned by local police to make the event dark.
