Ahmeti has said he will continue tomorrow with the ban on cars aimed at improving air quality in the capital.

This is a different town. We continue tomorrow and we appreciate it. We understand trouble for a few groups of citizens but I beg you to forgive our city these days. By 10:00 tomorrow, we'll have news of the forbidden roads to circulation” Ahmeti wrote on Facebook.

By contrast, most cars have been banned from entering downtown Pristina since 0600 in the morning. This measure has been taken in order to improve the state of the environment that these days has surpassed the allowed standards.
