Liverpool football player Jon Flanagan has been found guilty of beating his girlfriend. The 25-year-old defender was considered guilty of the violence exercised by Rachel Wall. The event occurred at 3:20 p.m., on December 22nd, on the “street Duke”, in the center of Liverpool. His sentence will be handed down at the end of this month. Liverpool-born player played more than 50 matches with the first team, where he debuted when he was 18.
The court has seen some film footage giving the right to denouncing his girlfriend, after Flanagan kicked her in the middle of the street. The couple have been connected for 18 months, but soon after the fight, they have broken up. This was the first time Flanagan had fought violence, but it is enough to be condemned by the court. Moreover, he and his girlfriend Wall were under the influence of alcohol.
