Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Cameron Gashi has signed the Order for setting criteria, procedures and form for proving sponsorship in the field of culture, youth and sports, through which the overall and special criteria for sponsorship, issuing proof and form, and the annual reporting procedure for implementation of sponsorship.
Under the regulation that sponsors of sponsorship, who may be legal or physical persons, local or foreign, their activity should be registered, licensed and taxed, meanwhile, beneficiaries of both physical and legal, of this sponsorship should be registered in organisations, relevant institutions for culture, youth and sports at local or central level.
Minister Kujtim Gashi named this extremely important sublaw act, which will directly affect the greater support of activities planned to be organised in the fields of culture, youth and sports.
This regulation explains the way and funding procedures for those who want to do it. I encourage businesses and other interested ones to sponsor in culture, youth and sports, because this will increase the number of activities and advance those fields. We aim that, through this new policy, quality will also be raised”, said Minister Gashi.
