According to him, burning raw coal from private homes is the largest air pollutant until cars contribute 12 percent to air pollution. As long as Kosovo B thermal power plant is greater than Kosova A.
“According to this study, when they're measuring pollution, such as the measure that we're referring to dust particles pm 10 and pm 25, this study predicts that in Pristina specifically the Kosova A thermal power plant and B impacts from 1 to 9 percent on environmental pollution in total pollution. The biggest risk is Kosovo B than Kosovo A, because Kosovo A filter has been changed in 2011, while in Kosovo B from 1985. The biggest importer under the same study in Pristina remains houses burning raw coal”, Luka said.
