In a rare media interview, Slobodan Milosevic's daughter has shown what had happened on the night of her father's arrest, when the villa in which she was staying with her family was surrounded by special units of Serbian police.

He went because if he didn't go to jail with them, they said they'd kill all the people in the house. And there were over 30 people in the house. There were friends of my mother and father, my friends. They damaged the entire residence. They could really kill us all. I'll remember my whole life. It was harder than being in battle”, Marija Milosevic said.

At the prison in Belgrade, she visited him daily.
