Manchester City 65m euros for La Ligas defender

Manchester City's team is insisting on providing the services of Athletic Bilbao, Aymeric Laporte.

For his card, the English team has offered a 65m-euro compensation, the Spanish daily “reported. AS”

The 23-year-old is much liked by City coach Pep Guardiola, who sees it as proper backup for the defensive department.

Laporte is one of the most esteemed defenders in La League, while Bilbao has over 200 presentations in all races. He has contracts with the Spanish team until June 2020.

Earlier, Barcelona, who withdrew because of the high price, had shown interest in Laporten to transfer the Yerry Mina Colombian.
