The demarcation agreement with Montenegro tomorrow will be in the hands of MPs. The Kosovo Assembly has announced that this agreement will be considered by the diaspora Foreign Affairs Commission and strategic investments. Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has warned that this topic will come in final epilogue in January.
“We are working on when sent to the Kosovo Parliament all applaud the version we will send. To be applauded by citizens, but also by our friends and eventually to end this topic. We are working in this direction by respecting the interests of the two countries. From this process I assure you that no country turns out lost, instead”, Limaj told Tribuna Channel.
Meanwhile, analysts have consistently estimated that the issue of demarcation with Montenegro could crash the ruling coalition without even excluding the collapse of the government.
Calls for ratification of the demarcation come from the United States and the European Union.
