Internal elections in the party's Vetevendosje Movement have already entered the final phase, with only Albin Kurtin the candidate for the post. But the fact that Kurti is the only candidate for the post does not mean he can necessarily be elected chairman of the Movement.
According to Ismail Kurteshi, organising secretary in Vetevendosje Movement, invited to the Leart Hodge show, “Click” on RTV 21 has indicated that Kurti, although the sole candidate is not sure of the party's choice, writes Insideder.
“even though it is the only candidate for party chairman it does not mean that the choice in the post is certain. The new chairman of Vetevendosje Movement must get over 50 per cent of the vote. If you don't get more than 50 percent of the vote, even though the single candidate, Kurti cannot be elected president”, Kurteshi said.
