First government meeting this year approved plan to boost youth employment

The government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has held its 23rd meeting, the first in 2018. At this meeting the government cabinet has reviewed and adopted documents and decisions of constitutional and legal responsibilities.
In line with the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's commitments and priorities, the action plan for increasing youth employment 2018-2020 has been adopted at today's meeting. It is an inter-sectorial plan and part of the strategic documents of the Republic of Kosovo, which, like the orientation gaps, have the National Development Strategy. The plan is aimed at increasing youth employment and aims to be achieved through increasing youth access to the labour market; developing entrepreneurship; harmonising education with the labour market; and raising the quality of practical education of young people.
The initiative for linking the International Health Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of Japan has been approved at today's meeting. In order to implement the economic and social development programme in the Republic of Kosovo, the Government of Japan will share a grant of 150 million THE Japanese evening (about 1.1m euros). The tools will be used to purchase medical equipment and maintain them.
The government has also adopted the final decision on expropriation for public interest, real estate, which is affected by the construction of Pristina-Mitrovica National Road. Property is located in the Upper Stanovc cadastral zone in the municipality of Vushtrri.
The Kosovo government has also adopted the preliminary decision to expropriate real estate affecting the construction of Elez's Pristina- Hani Highway. The properties are found in the Doganaj cadastral areas, Sopanica, Reka, Nikaj, Bicec, Kojaj, Gajre, Djurdrell, Kacanik, the Old Kacanic of the Kacanik municipality and in the Paldenica Cadastral and Pustennik areas of the Elez municipality.
The government cabinet has also approved the regulation for the return of displaced persons and sustainable solutions. Adjustion creates the necessary conditions for achieving sustainable solutions for displaced persons within Kosovo and the region, between February 28th 1998 and March 31st 2014. It determines the responsibilities of competent organs and decision-making, as well as procedures and assistance criteria.
The ruling government has approved the Ministry of Infrastructure's request to launch negotiations on linking the agreement for air transport services between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom.
At the request of Minister of the Ministry of the Kosovo Security Force, the decision has been approved to recommend that the president authorise the Co-operation Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Turkey.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behxhet Pacolli has announced the government cabinet with preparations under way for Kosovo's application and membership at the Council of Europe. A working group of ministry experts and experts from civil society that will prepare an action plan for the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli has indicated that he is also working on the Kosovo membership process in Interpol.
Prime Minister Haradinaj has praised the commitments and called for co-ordination of activities by all institutional actors for the membership process in these important international organisations to be completed successfully.
