Government Keeps Luxury Rest of Prime Minister Haradinaj

A few days after raising his salary and the entire government cabinet, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj travelled to Zurich, Switzerland, along with his wife, Anita Haradinaj and children. Today, the media reported that nine days of vacation, the Haradinaj family spent it in Switzerland's Sant Moritz resort village. Insander reported that [...]
The Skiing Center in Sant Moritz, Switzerland, is the most expensive in the world. The Hotel “Carlton”, built in Russian style on Swiss alps in front of a lake, is among the five best and most expensive hotels in this centre.
There, the world elite of billionaires from around the world is fired, writes Periscope.
Saint Moritz is a tourist village in the southeast of Switzerland, part of the Gresons Canton. This village lies in the Albula Mountains, with a height of 10,000 to 800 feet [1,500 m] above sea level. Meanwhile, the Hotel “Charleston” was built in 1913. There are 60 suites with view of the lake. There is also a legend about the hotel. It is said to have been built to serve as the residence of the Russian Carit, Nicholas II.
This tourist village, mostly inhabited by Russian billionaires known for their unbridled luxury.
Prime Minister Haradinaj, who was with his wife Anita, his three children and brother David's son, stopped at the same location.
In the Hotel “, Charleston”, the Haradinaj family ceased from December 25, 2017 to January 2, 2018, according to Inseder sources.
At this hotel, prices reach up to five thousand francs in just one night, while the cheapest room is a thousand and 300 francs.
Insander reported that the prime minister of one of the poorest states in Europe -- Kosovo -- is located in a suite called “Czar” of 160 square metres. By the time of the new year's holiday, the price of this suite has been at exactly 40 thousand and 600 francs for seven days.
In addition to estimates shown in the media, there is no other information about how much Prime Minister Haradinaj has paid for these holidays in the luxury Swiss village.
On this issue, Periscopi has contacted the head of the Information Office at the “Haradinaj”, Halil Matoshi.
He gave the same answer, like other media.
Matoshi February has told Periscopi that the prime minister was not with a state agenda, but private.
The prime minister has not been state-owned, but private and family agency. The institution carries no material cost”.
Despite the institution led by Haradinaj is keeping its luxury holiday a secret, the prime minister of the poorest country in Europe, Kosovo, is obliged to clarify to its citizens where it has ceased, how much of the expense has been paid, and from whom it has been paid.
On this issue, Periscopi has contacted the prime minister's wife, Anita Haradinaj, several times, but she has not responded, despite continued insistences.
Other prime ministers were contacted, but no one responded.
Meanwhile, from declared revenues at the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Haradinaj family receives about 142,000 euros annually.
Prime Minister Haradinaj's monthly income from the salary, rent and salary of the wife weighing 12,000 and 400 euros a month does not cover these expenses. Money saved in the bank, Haradinaj has declared he has 20 thousand and 581m euros.
Meanwhile, the annual revenues of Ramush Hardinaj and his wife are huge, but the nine-day holiday for a six-member hotel family, “Charles” in Saint Moritz costs as much as the prime minister's six-month revenues.
Only from the salaries, the Haradinaj pair receives about 69 thousand euros a year, until the home rent gets 73,469 euros a year.
According to these estimates, it is impossible for the Haradinaj family to pay expenses only from their income.
In Law No. 03L-151 for the Declaration, Coming, Control of Riches and Gifts of High Public Officials reportedly cannot accept random gifts, whose overall value exceeds 500 euros within a year.
According to the same Law, the official person is forbidden to accept monetary gifts.
“3. Case gifts of small value are considered gifts given at certain times, the value of which does not exceed fifty (50) Euro, or their total value does not exceed a hundred (100) Euro a year, if given by the same person. 4. The official cannot accept casual gifts whose overall value exceeds five hundred (500) Euro in a year. 5. The official person cannot accept monetary gifts. 6. When the official doubts whether or not he can accept a gift, he should get the approval of his superior. If the official person is the institution's leader, he should get the approval directly from the Agency”, Periscopi writes, among other things.
Although the government continues to keep it a secret, Haradinaj must account for the enormous spending on luxury holidays.
14 years ago, former Kosovo Prime Minister from the AAK ranks Bajram Kosumi for urgent reasons had returned private jets from Turkey to Kosovo. While resting in Turkey, he had to return to Kosovo to meet with UN representative for Kosovo Kai Eide.
It is still not known who had paid his private jet. Kosumi, in short he had said some of his friends. So much media speculation had made the case of Kosumi that it hadn't been too late and he had collapsed from the prime minister's position.
Again AAK prime minister with luxury expenses, this time for vacations at one of the most expensive places in the world.
We recall that Prime Minister Haradinaj had recently made a decision to double his salary from 1,500 euros a month to 3,000 euros. When Haradinaj reasoned on that decision, he said 1,500 euros are little for a prime minister. /Periscopi
