Women have been using pills, condoms, and implants for years, but a new form of male contraceptive will be in use in 2018.
A gel that prevents unwanted pregnancies by blocking sperm production.
Strangely, men won't have to rub the gel on their penis. Instead, they will have to massage the gel in their arms and shoulders to let it suck into their skin and reach the bloodstream.
Once two synthetic hormones, testosterone and progest have been absorbed, tests from the production of enough testosterone to produce normal sperm levels are blocked.
As far as the gel can stop sperm levels for about 72 hours, men will have to use it every day to make sure that sperm stays asleep.
Creators claim that there should be no suspicious side effects because the gel balances any hormone imbalance.
