World Bank to Be Strategic Partner of the Ministry of Innovation and Intervention

Minister of the Ministry of Innovation and Undertaking Besim Beqaj has hosted the meeting, Marco Mantovanelli, World Bank Country Director for Kosovo.

At a warm meeting with Director Mantovanelli, Minister Beqaj has stressed the possibility of co-operation in the field of innovation and development of joint projects. Minister Beqaj has announced Mantovanelli's priorities and work plan for the Ministry of Innovation and Undertaking.

The World Bank will be a strategic partner of the Ministry of Innovation and Intervention, in building the capacities for sustainable economic development, the minister Beqaj said after the meeting.

The discussion of the meeting was also the possibility of the collaboration of the Ministry of Innovation and the World Bank in the field of innovation, development of joint projects aimed at creating new jobs, with a focus on women and young people, and supporting the private sector in boosting competitiveness.

Minister Beqaj, as well, expressed his thanks for the continued support the World Bank has given to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
