Majko also held a meeting with Zv. Ukrainian Prime Minister Ivana Klympu-Tsintsadze
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on promoting friendly relations between the two countries, and was also talked about signing a free trade agreement. Majko invited Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister to visit Albania, broadcasting time.net.
While in Kiev, State Minister for Diasporra Pandeli Majko also visited the village of Karakurt in the Odessa region, where he was hosted by regional authorities and also representatives of the Albanian diaspora. Minister Majko was accompanied by Albania's Ambassador Hope Kureta, Ukraine, on this visit.
“After 300 years you have to come to Albania, to look closely at your country of origin, which has become a highly preferred tourist destination”, Majko said.
