Sheraton broke the contract with Al Kharafi when the Kuwaitis had not yet found the buyer of the building. The Albanian-known company's flight seems to have reached the price of convenient hotel sales.
Lapsy.al learned it was Shefqet Kastrati who bought the Sheraton Hotel from Kuwait for a sum of 30m euros.
Kastrati is one of the businessmen who regularly stands on the top of the rankings of the richest people in Albania. He is primarily known for the hydrocarbon, auto, insurance business, and so on, all under the entity Group's mother company.
Kastrati is recently expanding investment in hotels and constructions, which highlight investment in the Garden Residency Turdiu and construction of Albanian Tower, the tower on the street of Elbasan where the angle of the 7 Midgets, a project in collaboration with Zamir Manes' Balfin Group, collapsed.
And Shefqet Kastrati is the man behind the National Road concession through the Albanian Highway Concesion project.
