French milk company Lactalis has declared that more than 12 million baby milk boxes have been pulled from the market in 83 countries of the world, after concerns that salmonella bacteria may have broken up.
The company's exclusive chief, Lactalis, Emmanuel Besnier, has confirmed the contamination scandal for a French media.
Products have been withdrawn from the market since December, since the bacteria have been identified in a factory in northwest France.
The weekly magazine, Le Journal du Dimanche, has said that 35 babies have been diagnosed with salmonella bacteria in France, one in Spain and one possible case in Greece.
Last week, Economy Minister Bruno Le Muire has said that any product that remains in stores must leave immediately.
The call for evacuation applies to companies, Picots, Miluel, and Taranis.
